Marigold 'Golden Princess Black Center', heritage

A very old and unique variety of pot marigold with long, sturdy stems. The flowers look like small yellow suns with a dark, two-coloured centre that shifts in rusty red tones.

The variety is designated as a heritage variety by the organization ProSpecieRara. The seeds are grown on an organic farm in Switzerland.

Growing instructions

Direct sow at the growing site when the soil has warmed and the risk of frost has passed. Water the soil before sowing and keep it evenly moist during the germination period.

It can also be started indoors in April-May or be direct sown in late autumn in September–October, allowing the seeds to germinate the following spring.
